AFC & J-league clubs have joined the growing
fray for Japan national
coach Zico to drop his plans to include 3 veterans for the match against Singapore.
AFC have send a
letter to Zico hoping for the sake of the Asian game
he should drop the idea
Meanwhile J-league clubs
are angered that instead of blooding in youngsters for the international match Zico had chosen to turn it into an ‘exhibition’.
The J-league clubs
felt Zico should think of Japan
future & blood in youngsters now rather than later as the World Cup Qualifying
Final Round-Asia Zone would include much stronger teams thus fewer chances to
test out the youngsters.
Also with the plans, it is felt team morale will be damaged as the youngsters
feel outcast.
