While the Eagles season is not over with them still in the AFC Cup but already they are planning for the next campaign.

According to www.totalfootball.com.sg, the Eagles are looking at recruiting Rams ex-captain Fathi Yunos for 2005 season.

The Eagles certainly need the lanky defender at the back as they had a difficult time replacing their rock solid defence of 2003 with the defence of Noh Rahman, Razaleigh Khalik & Daniel Hill, who then is replaced by Mark Williams in mid-season, unable to stop the goals leaking at the back.

Still it is not known if Fathi Yunos is the solution for he himself played for an equally defensive shakily team, the Rams.

Certainly though he showed much potential during his time with the Rams as he had played reasonably well for the club.
