National coach Raddy is giving younger players a try-out in match against UAE after the team was hit by slew of injuries

National coach Raddy Avramovic said he did not expect to see so many injured players but not all is lost as this match will give him a chance to solve a few problems in several positions & allow young players to have gain international experience.

Raddy has invited new faces like Ishak Zainol, Imran Sahib, Faizal Hamid, Jaslee Hatta, Khairul Amri & Ismail Yunos into his squad.

In the Yeo's H-Two-O Challenge Cup, for the UAE are also sporting a new look as their Dutch coach Aad de Mos overhauled his side following a disastrous 1-3 defeat by Yemen last month in Group Five of the Asian qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup.

10 new players have been drafted into the squad ahead of the next qualifying match against Thailand on Oct 13, a match the UAE must win to stand a chance of qualifying for the final group stage.

But the absence of Indra & Alam Shah could prove particularly crucial as the pair have scored Singapore's only goals (3) in the last 5 internationals.

It is no doubt a tall order for strikers Ashrin Shariff & Masrezwan Masturi, who will take over their duties & making it worse is the Singapore team, whose average age is only 23, is inexperienced.

Still Avramovic said the players must try to play every game like they do in the S-League as he always tell them to enjoy their football & try to do their best. Singapore have to give them time & the chance to develop.
