TIGER BEER INTERNATIONAL SERIES Presents YEO'S H-TWO-O CHALLENGE CUP

SINGAPORE VS UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Singapore and the United Arab Emirates face off for the Yeo's H-TWO-O Challenge Cup on Friday 8 October, 2004 as both teams continue their preparations ahead of their respective tournaments. The match kicks off at 7:30pm at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

With the domestic S-League season over, the focus of the National Team in the upcoming internationals is to play themselves into coach Radojko Avramovic's plans for December's Tiger Cup.

Singapore will welcome back defender Baihakki Khaizan and winger Ridhuan Muhamad after their two-week stint in Belgrade with top Serbian club Red Star

UAE a traditional strong team qualified for the World Cup finals in 1990 but faced two must-win ties in their remaining FIFA World Cup qualifying matches if they are to harbour hopes of reaching Germany 2006. Dutch coach Aad De Mos has selected a predominantly young side and will definitely look to improve after a shock 3-1 defeat to Yemen in its last match.
