A possible record attendance for the S-League is likely, with Tampines chairman Teo Hock Seng having purchased 13,000 tickets for his fans. He has also promised to cover the National Stadium in his club's colours of yellow and black.

Toe said it does not matter whether they win or lose, the winner will be Singapore football. He always contended that the S-League needs to be played in front of big crowd. The more people that go through the turnstiles, that is the reward for the players as well. As they do every time they go to matches, the crowd want to see good football & he is sure both teams will deliver it.

But Protectors coach Darby is not concerned that Home United will be overwhelmed on the terraces.

The Englishman said what Teo Hock Seng is doing is tremendous & he does not care if there are 28,000 fans in yellow & black present, so long as there are thousands of bodies in the National Stadium. That is what we should be working towards, making the Singapore Cup Final an occasion to look forward to every year

S-League's director of competitions Quah Kim Song agreed & is convinced that the Final will be one to remember.

He said in the 3 games they have played in the league, Tampines won once, Home won once & the other clash was a draw. With both strong teams, the Final will be a good match, especially with what is at stake.

The Big Trumpet Singapore Cup final kicks off at 7pm on Sunday and tickets are on sale from 5pm at the East entrance of the National Stadium.
