The National Stadium could be turned into a sea of yellow at the Big
Trumpet Singapore Cup Final but if the occasion gets to newly-crowned S-League
champions Tampines Rovers, it will not affect Indra Sahdan one bit for the
player loved the big occasion.
The Home United ace has a knack of
scoring in vital matches with a record of scoring against the likes of Japan,
Uruguay & Manchester United
Also the 25-year-old also the double
for Home last season, when he cracked an instinctive finish past then Geylang United goalkeeper Hassan
Sunny 10 minutes from the end, in a tense Cup Final.
Home United coach Steve Darby agreed
with it saying the bigger the game, the better he does. Indra
has got the knack, just like Jimmy Greaves & Denis Law had it. Usually, it
is extroverted characters who need the stimulus of a
big crowd & while Indra does not fit the bill as
an extrovert, he just loves it being out on the pitch in front of a huge crowd.
No doubt the goalscoring
ace is a quiet character but he admits that he gets a high playing on the big
stage.
Indra said he agree with his coach in that he
just love big games for to be out on the field with so much at stake & with
thousands watching, that is a real thrill. There is why if there is a big crowd
at the National Stadium for the final, he will definitely step up.
Certainly if Indra
has his way in the Cup Final once more, the Stags could well experience a night
of disappointment.
