Geylang coach Scott O’Donell
was delighted with the vital victory over 2003
Scott said
the Eagles did not play well in the first half as he thought that they gave
away possession too cheaply but the Eagles continued to follow the game plan thus
they were able to catch them on the break twice in the second half with a 2
well taken goals.
However
Scott also had a word of warning for his players as he wanted them to remember
the tie is not over yet.
He warned it
is important that they do not get carried away as they are only halfway through
this tie & they must expect Perak to come at them
strongly in the second leg
So while
Scott is delighted with the result his parting words were – I am not getting
carried away because it is only half-time in this quarter-final match.
