Leave the champagne on ice, Tampines Rovers, you are not going to win the S-League
championship at Jurong East Stadium.- that is the warning served up by Albirex
Niigata, who are standing between the Stags & their first-ever league
title.
This Thursday, the Japanese side will
host Tampines Rovers, who need a win to lift the
coveted S-League trophy but the Swans vow to play party popper
Swans team manager Bogdan
Brasoveanu said if Tampines
Rovers want the championship this Thursday, they will have to earn it the hard
way & they can try, but the Swans are not just going to stand aside &
let them have it.
After all there is still much for Albirex Niigata to play for as the Japanese side are also desperate for the 3 points as they bid to overtake
the Young Lions for third place — a target the J-League feeder squad had set
for themselves before the start of their maiden S-League campaign.
