The only good things to come out of S-League Strategic Business Unit (SBU) were news that they are bracing themselves for a double departure. It was revealed that S-League chief executive officer (CEO) Chan King Fook & director of projects Ronnie Teo will both quit their posts

Sources revealed that Chan will relinquish his position at the end of the year, after he decided not to renew his 2-year contract with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS). Chan joined the FAS in 2003, along with then S-League Chief Operating Officer David Sim.

Sim — who restructured the S-League from 12 to 10 clubs — resigned just eight months into his job last October, saying that his work was done. (The reduction of local clubs had a practical reason but there is no defending the funding of foreign clubs as those clubs can go if they felt that it is not finically possible to run a club in the S-league & should NEVER take funding)
