Indonesia striker Bambang Pamungkas has opened the way for Home United to move for him by declaring that he is keen to play in Singapore. The 24-year-old, who missed a penalty in his team's 2-0 defeat to Singapore in a friendly on Saturday night, is looking to leave his Indonesian club Persija Jakarta & play overseas.

Bambang said he is interested in playing anywhere, be it in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia as long as he can improve as a player & gain experience from it.

At the same time, it seems the Indonesian is not short on offers as he revealed that there had been approaches from clubs in Malaysia & Hong Kong.

After the declared desire by Bambang to play oversea, it must be music to Protectors coach Steve Darby ears as the Englishman confirmed that contact had long been made with Bambang's representatives.

Nevertheless the main concern would be his contractual obligations with Persija as the Indonesian international is the club top player & his contract with Persija ends in December next year
