SAFFC coach
Jimmy Shoulder has attributed his side’s embarrassing 8-1 loss to Home United
on Wednesday night to a multitude of mistakes.
The
Warriors’ humiliation at the Bishan Stadium was their
worst ever defeat in club history & led one newspaper to – yet again -
bleat ‘shame, shame’ about the lopsided score.
Englishman
Shoulder could do little but shake his head at his side’s blunder after error
as Egmar Goncalves & Indra Sahdan ran riot against a defence containing the likes of well-experienced Nenad Bacina and Daniel Bennett.
Shoulder
said his more experienced players had made too many mistakes with all the goals
Home United scored preventable.
Adding to
that he said the Warriors cannot play below par against a team like the Protectors
because they are always capable of punishing mistakes and that was what
happened to the Warriors.
