Rumors were rife that Woodlands Wellington player-coach Simon Clark will quit soon

According to several Woodlands players, the 37-year-old Englishman announced his decision to his team last Friday, saying that he had received a job offer back in England.

However, when contacted Clark denied all rumors saying he had not heard anything about it.

When asked about the facts Rams players had already come forwards to reveal it, the Englishman reacted badly saying what he had told his players saying it was between him & them & is not anybody's business.

With such reaction by the Clark, it can only be perceived that the rumors carried much weight especially as Clark future has already been the subject of speculation since the Rams fell apart in the title race.

The Rams had led the standings after 6 straight wins early in the season, but are now in fifth position & have only won once in their last 11 matches
