Pahang has claimed the inaugural Malaysian Super League title,
finishing the season 9 points ahead of nearest rivals Selangor
Public Bank while last year M-league champion Perak
had finished a disappointing fourth behind Perlis
With this
title victory, Pahang would be 1of the 2 FAM representatives in next year
inaugural ”Champions of Champions" series which will see the Malaysian
Super League champion playing the S-League champion, & the Malaysia Cup
winner playing the Singapore Cup winner, both on a home and away basis.
Sarawak
& Kedah will be replaced in the Super League by Selangor MPPJ & Malacca Telekom,
who won their respective Premier League pools to be promoted.
