Steve Darby is delighted to have Sutee back with the Home United team after Thailand crashed out of the Asian Cup with 3 defeats from 3 matches.

It was not a surprise as Thailand was deal a tough group quickly dubbed the Group of Death as the line up against Asian Champion Japan, Asian Games Champion Iran & Oman.

Darby who had expressed his wish in joking fashion a back while ago to have his Thai winger back in action with the Protectors got his wish but he wanted people to know it is not all for selfish reasons as the Thais 3 opponents were all top class football nation & the Thais would struggle to match them.

If the Thais struggle, then Sutee will not have many chances to display the attacking skills that make him one of South East Asia’s hottest properties which as Darby suggests might make it difficult for him to catch the eye of scouts.

He said scouts & coaches rarely focus on the losing teams so if the Thai defence is constantly under pressure then Sutee will probably just appear to be a workhorse.

However back with the Protectors he will get that chance & Darby said it is not in the S-league but in the inaugural AFC Cup.

He want Sutee to show his attacking skills in the AFC Cup which can served better as a shop window for the Thai player.
