Home United striker Emgar Gonclaves has announced that the current 2004 season will be his last season in Singapore.

He stated he was offered a 2 year contract by Home United but decided to only signed for 1 more year before returning back to Brazil for good.

He wished to be with his family members who are back in Brazil & are still Brazilian citizens.

He has estimated that he has earned about $500000 during his 8 years with Home United in the S-league & it will be enough for his retirement in Brazil as he has invested the money into homes in Brazil. He has bought 5 houses in Brazil that he is renting out to earn him extra income.

He has also decided to play for a club in Brazil for another 1 year before he retired from football forever.
