Steve Darby, coach of Singapore double winners Home United believe Thailand Sutee Suksomkit will light up the Asian Cup.

Darby said Sutee has shown he can mix it with English Premier League players when, playing on the left of a 4-5-1 formation, he tore Newcastle apart & as long as  plays as well as he did in the friendly then the Asian Cup could well be the tournament for him to break through.

If that was to happen then Sutee will be with a move away from Home United after several of previous moves fell apart but it is  a fate Darby has long since resigned himself to.

He felt they cannot hold onto him forever as he deserved to play in a higher level of football.

For purely selfish reasons though Darby hope Thailand get hammered in the Asian Cup as that way Sutee will only missed 3 S-league games & the Protectors can get him back for the all-important match against the Young Lions.
