Home United goalscoring ace Egmar has makes a U-turn & decided not return to Brazil opting for another year in the S-League.

The ex Singapore international has a sports equipment franchise & a string of properties waiting for him in Brazil but he is not ready to hang up his boots & bid farewell to the S-League just yet.

The striker has decided he is capable of terrorising defences for at least another year & he has credit it to Home United coach coach Steve Darby's training methods.

He felt the English coach methods have helped preserve him physically as the coach gives me a day or two off after a match allowing him to rest on the first day, & go for a run or do gym work if he have a second day off to keep fit without tiring himself out.

Also after a decade in Singapore, his family are finding it difficult to dig up the roots they have planted here. His children are still in school in Singapore & feeling more at home in Singapore so he decided to stay.

With him topping the S-League goalscoring charts, Steve Darby is more than willing to offer Egmar a contract when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The Englishman understand at Egmar age any footballer would try to take it year by year, but as long as the striker is willing & able he would be wanted him at Home United.
