Yet again the S-league is linked with another Chinese Super League side & this time it is Beijing Hyundai

The Chinese team is last season Double winning the 2003 Chinese Super Cup and FA Cup double winners when they were known as Beijing Guoan will arrive in Singapore next month for a familiarisation visit, which includes a friendly match against the S-League All-Stars.

Club officials from Beijing Hyundai will use the opportunity to discuss their possible participation in the S-League, with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).

When contacted Beijing Hyundai's marketing manager Fu Bin confirmed that as the Chinese Super League is having a break for the Asian Cup, it is the best time for them to visit Singapore & assess the standard of the S-League before any possible discussion on future cooperation can be carried out with FAS.

They have many ideas & proposals they wished to exchange with FAS.

S-League CEO Chan King Fook admits 1 item on their agenda is to explore the prospect of Beijing Hyundai playing in the S-League FAS would be happy to discuss the possibility with them when they are here in Singapore.

Beijing Hyundai is not the only Chinese Super League club interested in joining the S-League as Dalian Shide is also keen on joining the league.
