The saying go that the biggest test for a coach comes when the team are losing, not when they are winning.

That time has come for Woodlands Wellington's Simon Clark.

9 games into the season, Woodlands were on top of the league but another 9 games later & the Rams are now in fifth place, incredibly, peering at the bottom half of the table.

It has been a stunning fall from grace for Clark & his men with a 7-match winless streak plunging the team into crisis after they were not only knocked from the top of the league but also the Singapore Cup.

Clark believed the reasons for that is the team had lost the passion & drive they had in the first round of matches so that is the need to rediscover it.

As player-coach, he must do whatever he can to turn things around for the club.

He is also pleased that other coaches in the league have come up to him & asked how he was dealing with it. With the more experienced coaches sharing their experiences, Clark know they have gone through what he is going through now.

Still with 9 games left, his team must pulled together & have everybody working hard for each other as they cannot afford to 1 player not concentrating on what is at hand

He has laid those cards on the table in a team meeting last week & he is looking forward to the next fixture for a response from his side & turn things around.
