The Young Lions crashed out of the
The Chinese side put up a resolute and
determined performance to wipe out the slender one goal advantage that the
Young Lions had & with the aggregate score at 3-3, Sinchi advanced to the
semi-finals, having scored 2 away goals when the teams met for the first leg at
Jalan Besar
The Young Lions had came into the
match with a psychological advantage over Sinchi but on a night that they need
to continue to show their toughness, the Young Lions faltered as their attack
without Agu Casmir was blunt.
Khairul Amri & Fadzuhasny Juraimi
led the attack against the Chinese side but they lacked the killer-edge throughout
the match to open the Chinese side.
Sinchi took the lead after Precious make
a fatal mistake of misjudging the bounce of the ball & allowed the ball to
pass him into the path of Li Benjian, who had made a brilliant run down the
right flank into the penalty area. Precious try to make up the mistake up
chasing the player & harassing him, but the Chinese striker managed to put
in a powerful shot that flew beyond the hands Lionel Lewis & into the net.
