The start of July has nothing been
short of tremendous for the Stags after thrashing to both Albirex
Niigata 5-1 & Woodlands Wellington 4-1 to rise to second position behind
Home United.
The man most responsible for the feat was
Stags Chairman ‘Godfather’, Teo Hock Seng.
After the shock 2-4 loss to Balestier Khalsa, at Toa Poyoh Stadium, in the Singapore Cup, Mr Teo send the team a stinging letter to buck up.
Stags coach Vorawan Chitavanich
admitted it had served as a wake-up call for the players as they were losing
their organization & drive by that time.
He was also delighted that the players
took the chairman criticism in the right spirit & respond to it after
seeing how his entire team have contributed their
best.
