The heads just keep rolling at Hougang Stadium.

After sacking 7 players last month, Sinchi Golden Throat finally decided to give head coach Xie Yuxin the boot.

Following a series of disappointing results, the former Chinese international forward was asked to leave after leading the China-based side to just 2 wins so far this season.

With Sinchi second from bottom of the S-League after suffering an astonishing 12 defeats in 17 games, there was an emergency meeting with Xie & the club decided that it was time for a change.

Sinchi vice-chairman Wang Jinhui said Sinchi results have been poor & even after making changes to the playing staff during the transfer window, results have not improved so it was decided a new coach was needed to improve the fortunes of the club.

Xie will lead his charges for the last time this Sunday, when Sinchi host the Young Lions at Hougang Stadium in the Singapore Cup quarter-finals.

He will then be replaced by Li Hu-en, an experienced football coach from China.

Tickets for the Kelme East-West Challenge are priced at $5 for adults & $1 for children. Sale of tickets will commence on 26 July 2004 at all S-League Clubs and FAS office during office hours and on match day from 5.00pm onwards at the North and South entrances of the Jalan Besar Stadium.
