Rams player-coach Simon Clark now faced the task of stopping his club freefall into oblivion as the Rams get knocked out the Singapore Cup quarter-final. A few days earlier, the Rams had already seemed Home United pulled away from them after defeating the Rams 2-0.

After what was the club best start in history that once saw a 7 points gap against then second-placed team Tampines Rovers, the Rams has now fallen 3 points behind Home United & is in danger of being pulled down further the table if their recent form does not improve soon.

Clark admitted it has now become a massive job now as mentally, his players have been hit hard by the club poor recent form.

However he believed his team will suck it in & continued to fight on for the remaining season as the S-league title is now their only remaining hope of a trophy.

It would be a big disappointment for him personally if his team does fade away as the season reached a crucial stage.
