Tanjong Pagar United have missed out on the signing of Pitipong Kuldilog after a shocked
& possibly funny development with the Thai striker deciding to be a monk.
The Thai
international had spent a week training at Queenstown
impressing the coach & had already agreed terms with the Jaguars.
However he
departed back to his homeland to settle personal problems but now he will not
be coming back after deciding to put on the saffron robes.
The reasons
behind that appeared to be that his parents feeling Pitipong
Kuldilog was having a bad year & wanted him to
turn to monkhood so as to prevent worse things
happening to him. Pitipong Kuldilog
agreed with his parent & will be a monk at a monastery for the next 1 month
Tanjong Pagar United coach Karim Bencherifa may have engineered a revival but it is clear
the Jaguars are still in need of a class act upfront with only Haris Sumri leading the line.
