After getting the goal against Sinchi Albirex Niigata striker Hidetoshi Wakui ran towards the crowd & lifted his shirt to show a singlet emblazoned with the No.5

It was a touching tribute to his a fellow comrade, who career is now hanging by a thread after a serious injury.

That player is defender Tatsunori Yamagata who has torn his knee ligament in training recently & has now returned back to Japan for treatment.

Tatsunori Yamagata is a close friend of Hidetoshi Wakui since their youth.

Swans operations manager Jun Minorikawa was proud of Wakui & feel it is a great gesture as it tell Yamagata the team in Singapore is still thinking of him & is fighting mad to achieve thing that he would be proud of.
