Ex-Warriors midfielder Ballamodou Conde has seek compensation of
$100000 from the Warriors after the Warriors terminated his contract during the
S-league transfer window.
Conde, who was
replaced by German Andre Gumprecht, wants his
contact, which run to the end of the year to be paid up in full.
Conde wished the fans
to know he is not making this move so as to hurt the club in retaliation even
as he is still baffled by the decision.
He said he
would have understand it if the club was doing badly but at the moment the club
has surpassed expectation with him helping the club to second position with
important goals.
With that
& the fact he was a model professional throughout his time with the
Warriors, he felt he was due his rights to his remaining salary.
SAFFC
general manager LTC (Ret) Kok Wai
Leong revealed that the club had offered Conde 2 months of his salary but admitted that is still
room for give & take.
He also
praised Conde for his time with the Warriors &
the club had no problem with him but the decision to released
him was a football decision for the benefit of the team.
At the
moment the Guinean is negotiating with SAFFC in the hope they can reach an
agreement without souring their relationship.
