Singapore will meet Malaysia on July 12 in a friendly at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is likely to be the first test for new Malaysia coach Bertalan Bicskei who takes over from Englishman Allan Harris on July 1.

Singapore team administrator Eugene Loo said games against Malaysia are always interesting & the Singapore boys are looking forward to meeting the old rivals again.

Both teams come into this fixture off disappointing losses in the World Cup qualifiers with Singapore suffering a shocking 7-0 loss to Oman in Muscat, while the Malaysians were 4-0 losers to China in Malaysia.

The Lions are also said to be keen to arrange a friendly with a European national side before September's return tie with Oman in Singapore
