In an amazing turnaround ex-international defender Sasi
Kumar is set to return to professional football 6 months after he had announced
his retirement
due to him being
unable to secure a club.
During that time he had put his effort in the football clinic he started
& playing amateur football with
Home United coach Steve Darby is delighted with the captured of the
Singapore ex-international as the club had lost defender Ratna
Suffian when the player returned to the Jaguars after
his NS ended.
With Home United battling on 3 front in the S-league, the AFC Cup &
the Singapore Cup, Steve Darby feet Sasi Kumar is an
asset as he has many years of playing international football. Also Sasi Kumar played with Aide Iskandar
& S Subramani before when he was with the club
from 1999-2001 so Steve Darby feel they can reestablished their understanding
quickly again if needed.
The defender had signed a 6 months contract with the Double champion Home
United & will be registered with the club once the transfer window opened
tomorrow.
