Both host country Oman & Japan had taken full advantages of their home ground advantage & showed their superiority to thrash both Singapore & India by similar scoreline of 7-0.

Bader Mubarak was the person who did the most damages with 4 goals while Khawhilelifa Ayil added 2 goals & Ahmed Hadid notched 1 goal in display of attacking football.

The result leaves Oman just three points behind Japan, who also scored a 7-0 win against India on Wednesday. The Omanis are set for 2 important meetings with the Japanese in the coming months with an Asian Cup Group D fixture between the two teams in Chongqing, China on July 20, followed by their return match in the World Cup qualifiers in October.
