Tampines Rovers forwards pair of Noh Alam Shah & Mirko Grabovac have been left out of the 23-man Singapore national squad named by coach Raddy Avramovic for their forthcoming World Cup 2006 qualifier in Oman on June 9.

The dropping of Grabovac who is the Stags top-scorer with 12 goals is not surprising as he had another disappointing performance in Singapore last qualifying match against Japan when he was substituted at half-time but the dropping of Noh Alam Shah came as a bombshell as coach Raddy Avramovic consider him as potentially the best striker in the national team.

Still Avramovic opted not to select the 23-year-old in the wake of some poor peformances for Tampines Rovers as he has bot hit the back the net for last 4 S-League matches.

He feel Noh Alam Shah has been looking tired in the matches he is playing & need a rest so the decision not to call the Stags striker.

There is still good news for the Stags though with former skipper Nazri Nasir keeping his place after returning to the squad for the Japan match.

With the dropping of Tampines Rovers forwards pair of Noh Alam Shah & Mirko Grabovac as well as Young Lions Fadzuhasny Juraimi, Singapore has only 3 forwards - Home United Indra Sahdan Daud, Young Lions Agu Casmir & SAFFC striker Ashrin Shariff in his first call-up
