After several years of cut to the prize money in the S-league due to the difficult financial climate, the league committee has decided to revise & increase the prize money for the 2004 season.
When the S-league started the prize money for the Champion was $130000 but after several cut to it, last season champion Home United only received $100000.
The new S-league Champion will be able to pocket $120000.
The Singapore Cup also received a boast to its prize money with the winner expected to pocket $100000. The Singapore Cup has always seem the winner pocket $70000.
