Nearly 40000 turned out for the Sultan of Selangor Cup held at the National Stadium.

Both the S-league All Stars & Malaysia Cup winner Selangor MPPJ fought to 2-2 draw. The $25000 prize money was shared between the 2 sides

National coach Raddy Avramovic, who was in charge of the S-league A11 Stars, was pleased with the turnout & felt it was a great experience for his players. He felt the players would gain more confidence from playing in such games.

S-league All Stars had taken a first half lead of 2 goals through Shahril Ishak & Agu Casmir before Selangor MPPJ came back strongly with goals from Juan Arstegui & Fabricio Fanceschi.
