Rumors are rifle that Tanjong Pagar United could be the next local club to leave the S-league after new FAS head Prof Ho Peng Kee revealed the S-league could have more foreign clubs.

The Jaguars were a last minute inclusion in this season S-league as financial difficulties hampered the club last season. With new club chairman Mathew Kang they managed to convinced FAS no such problems will crept up this season.

With electronic giant JVC becoming the co-sponsor, the Jaguars were expected to get another co-sponsor to complement them but 2 months into the S-league season & the club still have not done that.

Now along with an abysmal run of 9 defeats in 9 matches things do not looked good for the club.

However Jaguars chairman Mathew Kang is ready to brush off such talks as he insist his club is not threaten by talks of the inclusion of foreign clubs. In fact he welcome anything that enhance the S-league.

He knows FAS would make the right decision when the curtains fall at the end of the season in October. Also he felt the S-league could even expanded back to 12 teams as more than 1 foreign club can be invited to join so that is a place for Jaguars in the S-league.
