FAS havecome out in the open & suggested the S-league could have more foreign clubs next season.
New FAS head Prof Ho Peng Kee revealed FAS is currently assessing the situation on what is the ideal number of teams & the composition of the teams for next season.
He felt FAS must continued to plan ahead & do what is best for the league even after the major revamp last season.
Currently the S-league has 10 teams with 2 of them foreign clubs - Albirex Niigata & Sinchi.
However he felt that constant chopping & changing is not good for the S-league & stability is what the S-league need especially after the changes last season when 3 local clubs-Sembawang Rangers, Sengkang Marines & Jurong were dropped from the S-league.
Still everything depended on the situation & he cannot promise how things would progress in the months ahead.
He said details for that would only be available at the end of the season.
