A goal feast was served up at Woodlands Stadium as the Rams threw away a 2-goal lead established in the 1st half.

Korean Kim Eun Cher & Englishman John Wilkinson gave the dominating Rams a deserved 2-goal lead but nobody could foreseen an amazing comeback by the Young Lions as Agu Casmir scored twice in the first 5 minutes of the restart. After that Khairul Amri gave the Young Lions the lead. Rams top scorer Korean Park Kung Guy level the score at 3-3 & later John Wilkinson got his second of the night from the spot kick to give the Rams all 3 points at their home Stadium

The Protectors followed up their thumping of the Rams with another victory against the struggling Tigers.

It was the Tigers who got the opening goal when they caught out the Protectors with a quick counter-attack allowing Lee Ho Sung to face the Protectors keeper Sean Roberts one-on-one & the Korean make no mistake with the strike. Forced to chase the game the Protectors make a mess of things as the Tigers had several other chances after that to kill off the Champion. Unfortunately the Tigers failed to convert the chances & were make to pay for it when Azhar Baksin burst into the penalty area evading the dive of Bashir Khan & relaying the ball to an open Indra Sahdan who simply had to score but amazingly the ball was blocked on the line with the rebound falling to Peres de Oliveira who finally level the score for the Protectors.

The Champion had a hard time after the restart in breaking down the Tigers defence with them defending stoutly. Still there was no denying the champion the lead as Indra darted inside the box & pass the ball to his Striker partner Egmar fire home from an acute angle. With the lead th Champion went for the kill & got another goal when again Indra make the difference. An exquisite touch by Indra at the edge of the box put Ali Imran through & the former Tigers man shot to the far post where Peres was on hand to tap home. It was hard on the Tigers as they had played well but all that matter was the final result & they were 2 goals down. The game still had a twist though when Farhan Farook, a late substitute for the injured Lee Ho Sung, found himself at the end of an attacking move after the Protectors defence were caught short-handed. His shot from a slight angle was firm & it nestled at the back of the Home United net. It was nerves for the Champion for the final few minutes of the game but they held out against the Tigers.

Haris Sumri 31'

Ong Leong Koen(OG) 4'

Noor Ali 28'

It was another defeat for the Jaguars but Jaguars new coach Karim Bencherifa can take comfort it was 1 of the best display by his team.

2 goal down before the half hour mark anybody would have thought it was the end of the match. The first goal came as a result of a Chang Hui shot which hit the post & rolled precariously along the goal line. With Aleksandar Duric closing in, Jaguars captain Ong Leong Koen tried to clear the ball but somehow contrived to smash it high into his net instead. Another mistake cost the Jaguars again when Eric Kwek carelessly passed the ball to Duric who sent the over-lapping Noor Ali through with a deft poke & winger first touch was immaculate as he slidethe ball under Lim Pin Min for his goal.

Surely the storyline after the Eagles took a 2goal lead must be the floodgates opening nobody told the Jaguars as Haris Sumri pulled one back almost immediately when he found it impossible to miss from five yards out after a sweet centre from Saviat from the left. With that goal the Jaguars looked a completely different side as they totally rattled the Eagles after that.

However poor finishing & great keeping by Shahril Jantan earned the Eagles all 3 points

Ashrin Shariff 37'

The Warriors got an important winner against Sinchi as they looked to get their season back on track

Warriors leading scorer Ashrin Shariff got the all important winner at Hougang when Gusta delivery from a corner found Angelucci & although the Australian’s header looked goal-bound, Ashrin make sure by nodding it in from one yard out at the far post.

Overall the match was dull with the other talking point being Sinchi Chen Xiao sending off as he earned 2 yellow for harsh tackles.
