An incident happened in the match between Albirex Niigat vs Tampines Rovers which Albirex Niigata won 1-0.

An Albirex Niigata official was involved in a scuffle with the son of Tampines Rovers chairman Teo Hock Seng after the final whistle. Mr Teo's son wanted to go down to pitch level once the game ended, but the official prevented him from doing so & the scuffle ensued.

Police & security personnel stepped in to restore order.

Witness in the match alleged the scuffle happened after the official had struck the youngster.

In another incident, the signboard at the Jurong East Stadium which house the S-league logo was vandalized. The Sign board was changed to J-league with spray paint.
