It could be the end of the road for defender Dennis Lim Jianwen as he will not be seeing any football action for the next two years.

When he was enlisted to Police Force on Wednesday, 28 January 2004, he thought he would have a chance to play for Singapore Champions Home United FC in the S-League & AFC Cup but after a medical check-up, it was all over. It is learnt that his Medical Status is Pes CL9, which disallow him to be registered as a player. Attempts to get his case reviewed proved futile with Medical doctors unwilling to overturn the decision.

With a lack of football for the time he will be serving NS, it is hard to see how he could get back into football, as new players would have emerge in the time he is out of football.

Meanwhile, for ex-Rams midfielder Kamal Nasir there is better news as Home United has registered him for the Prime League competition.

On Sunday, 4 April, he made his Prime League debut coming on as a substitute against Tanjong Pagar United, in which Home won 6-1 while last Sunday, 11 April, he was on the bench for Home United S-League match against SAFFC. Home United lost 1-2 at Bishan Stadium.
Last year, Kamal had made 28 appearances for the Rams & in the process scored 1 goal for them. He also earned his debut international for Singapore against Hong Kong on Monday, 4 August 2003. Singapore won the match 4-1 at Jalan Besar Stadium
