Woodlands Wellington player-coach Simon Clark feels the need to pay tribute to the Woodlands fans for their vociferous showing this season.

At every game that Woodlands Wellington play in, home or away, the team are guaranteed the frenzied support of at least 140 hardcore fans. All that is thanks a major revamp of the WWFC Fan Club during the close season as it now boasts a 100-strong membership base. The new club president, Alim B M Omar say that was a need for the revamp because the old fan club was inactive in organising activities but it is a different story now.

Boys from Woodlands' adopted charity -- Muhammadiyah Welfare Home – is also making up a part of the support base for the current S-League leaders & Alim B M Omar say the fan club is taking step to organise fundraising events for them so that the boys have a chance to be brought back into society.

Some 40 boys from the home smartly decked out in their blue Kappa jerseys get the chance to attend Woodlands' matches each week.

The Rams had won the hearts of the boys in the Muhammadiyah home when they paid them a visit during pre-season. 1 of the boys, Firdaus say they were overjoyed when the whole team came down to visit them & they were touched as the Rams players mingled with them showing interest in their way of life.

Therefore many of them become fans of the club & he wanted everybody to know his favourite player is goalkeeper Yazid Yasin.
