Player-coach Simon Clark saw his team maintain their perfect start to the season as the Rams defeated Albirex Niigata 3-2 but the defender voiced his concerns about the rate at which his team is shipping goals.

The Rams have failed to keep a clean sheet since the opening day of the season against the Warriors although they are enjoying the best run of the club history.

Still Simon Clark is far from pleased as he does not like the fact his team is conceding goals. He feel that it is something the team must look into as the season progress for the club is conceding too many goals at the moment.

He was especially annoyed at the way the Rams allowed the Swans back into the game after a brilliant 1st half, which saw the Rams scoring 3 early goals. However the 2nd half was a different story as it was the Swans early goal that created problems for the Rams as it put them on the back foot for the rest of the match. Worse was the Rams conceded a second goal towards the end of the match which nearly saw them lost 2 points.

It is important for him to see his team defends well & right now there is imbalance between defending & going forward.

Asked about having opened his account against Sinchi, Simon Clark was delighted but he would rather his team keep clean sheets & if they can get 15 clean sheets this season, he will not come up for corners.
