Protectors coach Steve Darby was delighted with an away point against Perak which allowed his team to stay at the top of Group D on goal difference.

He felt the first half performance by his team was brilliant but he regretted the lack of depth on the bench as his team failed to hold onto a first half lead given to the Protectors by Emgar Goncalves & Sutee Suksomlit when Peres De Oliveria, Emgar Goncalves & Ali Irman Lomri had to come off in the second half.

Overall he acknowledged it was a fair result as Home United was the better team in the first half while Perak was the better team in the second half.

He felt his team will comes out top in the second match on April 27 when Perak have to come to Bishan
