Sinchi, who joined the S-league last season, has lost 4 of their 5 sponsors after they decided to pull out.

Only local company Travel GSH has decided to continue their sponsorship of Sinchi.

The club has blamed the league & the national team for its problems as they felt the league was not helping it in gaining exposure for its sponsors & the national team poor international results was also not helping matters.

Sinchi vice-chairman Wang Jinhui will be going to China to source for new sponsors within the month but it is not known if it will have any effect on their sponsorship woes. At the same time, Sinchi vice-chairman Wang Jinhui claimed that the hit on their budget as a result of the sponsors' pullout would not affect Sinchi determination to put a strong team for 2004 season.

Sinchi had finished a disappointing 6th in the league after claiming they will be among the challenger for the top 3 positions in the 2003 season. They did not fare much better in the Cup competition after they were knocked in the quarter-final by Woodlands Wellington.
