Eagles Chang Hui is just not same player as when he was with Sinchi & is feeling the pressure to quit the Eagles so that he can return to China.

He is not getting the ball as often as he likes & his confidence is at an all-time low.

However at the moment Chang Hui is not about to quit the team & is determined to prove himself after a heart-to-heart talk with coach Scott O'Donell. The Australian coach had called his player in for a meeting to discuss his recent performances, & the ex-Sinchi striker told O'Donell exactly where the problem lies - he is being asked to defend deep instead being freed up to foray up front.

Chang Hui is frustrated with his poor performances with Geylang United. He is not getting the ball in the final third of the field like he was with Sinchi as everyone passed the ball to him. However the Eagles do not that as they have a number of players who are also comfortable with the ball at their feet.

As a result, he is getting an inferiority complex on the pitch.

Last season, Chang Hui was top scorer for Sinchi with 24 goals. This year, he has not found the back of the net & has been substituted in all the 3 games that he started.

Still, he has his coach's vote of confidence. Scoot O'Donell felt Chang Hui future is not an issue as everyone saw how good he was last season. He know Chang Hui is disappointed with himself & they are trying to see how to help him regain his form.

It is not been easy for Chang Hui being the only non-English speaking player in the team. Indeed, the language barrier and loneliness seem to be Chang's biggest problems as last year he stayed in a dormitory with the other Sinchi players & had his wife with him. Now, he stays alone in an apartment & his wife has gone back to Beijing to pursue an acting career.

Asked if he's lonely, Chang Hui acknowledged it but felt he will see what he can do to kill time ashe cannot interact with his team-mates because of the language barrier.

He will also give his best for the Eagles & see how it will be in June before deciding his future
