Singapore goalkeeper crisis was resolved as a result of Hassan Sunny passing his fitness test & thus given permission to interrupt the training phase of his basic military training (BMT).

Now he needs to report for BMT on April 14.

Initially it was thought the 19 year old would not be released because of his national service commitments.

National coach Raddy Avrarmovic was pleased with the situation as it meant Singapore now has 3 goalkeeper to choose from but the in-form Hassan Sunny is expected to be Singapore No 1 for the match against Japan.

Rezal Hassan & Shahril Jantan are the other 2 goalkeepers in the squad.
