It is hard to image violence in a S-league match but is also impossible at Prime League match where there is a lack of exposure.

The S-league have seem several cases of fan violence since 1998 but it is still far & few in between.

Up to now the Prime league has never seem their 1st case. However it happened at Tampines Stadium during a Prime League match between leaders Tampines Rovers FC and defending Champions Home United FC at Tampines Stadium

The match was abandoned minutes after kick-off after flashes of lightning with heavy rain followed.

It is learnt that after the Referee blew for the match to be abandoned, there was a dispute among the rival fans. 2 fans engaged into a heated argument and from nowhere, someone had used a helmet & hit the face of 1 of the fans. The victim's nose was broken & the attacker escaped

It should be the 1st case of violence in the Prime league & it is hoped that such incidents will not happened again.
