Jiang Tao funeral has been put on hold after his mother suffers fainting spells

When Madam Jiang, mother of demised Sinchi player Jiang Tao, first heard the tragic news via telephone, she fainted. Yesterday after almost a week, the Jiang family arrived in Singapore from Jilin province, China & she collapsed at the Changi Airport again.

Sinchi general manager Wang Jinhui was at the airport to receive Jiang's mother & father, 2 aunties and an uncle but Madam Jiang still torn with grief at the loss of her only son, fainted.

Mr Wang Jinhui stated that they had send her to Changi General Hospital for emergency treatment & there were fears that she would be unable to pull through.

Fortunately Madam Jiang managed to recover 3 hours later & Sinchi decided to engage 2 nurses to accompany her round-the-clock during her stay in Singapore.

It was a wise move, as she fainted no less than 5 times yesterday.

She saw her son for the 1st time in over a year, lying in the morgue at Singapore General Hospital then attended an afternoon ritual at Jurong Stadium to watch forlornly as the priest chanted last rites for her son.

However Madam Jiang has been left physically & mentally weak by the ordeal that her son's funeral has been put on hold.

Mr Wang Jinhui stated her health is the main concern

At the same time he thanked all the people who have supported them during this difficult time.
