Indra Sahdan is the 1st Singapore-born footballer to surpass the 100-goal mark in the S-League en-route to winning the League and Cup double with Home United last season.

This year, the 25-year-old marksmen has set his sights even higher as he has already tasted 2 S-League championship & now want to taste Asia glory as well. The AFC Cup will be his main priority this year & it will be great if a Singapore club can win this Asian tournament

No Singapore team has ever reached the quarter-final stage of the Asia club competition & this year Home United offer the best opportunity to reach that milestone.

He is glad the club had 2 resounding wins against Happy Valley (HK) & Club Valencia (Maldives) & he is confident that they can do well.

Indra Sahdan will be missing the next match against Perak (Malaysia) as a result of the red card he got against Club Valencia (Maldives) & he is disappointed.

He wished to play every match for Home United & helped the team do well.

Having scoring 26 goals for Home United last season in the S-League, the striker still remains modest about his striking prowess. He do not expect to win any individual honours, just better his scoring record

He has already opened his account this season in the S-League & AFC Cup against Tanjong Pagar United & Happy Valley.

Still Indra Sahdan expects a more difficult campaign this time around with newcomer Albirex Niigata likely to be a major title contender.

However he contend he will continue to do this part & run faster thus creating more space for his team-mates & there is no reasons why he cannot face up to the challenges ahead
