Jaguars caretaker coach, Swandi Ahmad is facing the same old story of 2003

Last year, poor results &mounting debts lead to the Jaguars finishing 3rd from bottom in the S-League & prior to the start of this season league, they looked to put that past behind them, with a new team & a new chairman.

However the old story has come back to haunt the Jaguars as ex-coach Moey Yoke Ham, quit abruptly after 1match & 2 crushing defeats by Albirex Niigata (3-0) and Home United (4-1).

Still Swandi Ahmad will not throw in the towel. He is optimistic that his charges can turn the tide when they travel east to play the Stags at the Tampines Stadium.

He admitted it is not a great start to the season by the Jaguars & such results are damaging for the team's morale. However he is looking at the possibility of anything being possible in football & the Jaguars must stay optimistic for the future
