For a 2nd time, within the space of 3 days, the NTUC Income-Yeo’s S-League fixture between Woodlands Wellington FC and Sinchi TV FC was called off & this time, as a result of poor weather condition.

The match, originally slated for Thursday, was called off the 1st time following the unfortunate demise of Sinchi Prime League player Jiang Tao.

Despite almost an hour of waiting for the re-schedule match to kick off, the crowd at Woodlands Stadium was left disappointed when referee N Santhan decided to call off the match.

N Santhan had earlier pushed the kick-off back to 7:45pm, but, with streaks of lightning flashing across the night-sky, the referee took into consideration the safety of both sets of players before calling the match quits.

The match will now be scheduled for another date, to be announced later.

Fans who have bought tickets for the Woodlands – Sinchi match will receive an additional door gift when they produce their ticket stubs for the corresponding fixture, courtesy of Sembcorp Power & Gas.
