McFly calls a meeting today to talk about the people we had been interviewing. He says "So, everyone liked the third person who came in? We should hire him?" I just look at him as if he were very stoned. Turtle didn't even see the last two people because she had left for the day. Not only that, why does he assume we all like the third guy? Need I even ask?

"Well, Kathy said that it was agreed by you three that you like the third person. He was easy to understand and likable." Even though I did like the 3rd guy the best, I still had to be a bitch and go "Uhhh, no. I still haven't decided which person I like the best. Besides, Turtle hasn't even seen the other two."

McFly looks a little startled by that announcement. "What do you mean? I thought you had told Kathy that you liked the 3rd person." He looks over to Kathy and she's just sitting there, expecting me to cover for her as usual. But not any more. Not now that I
don't share an office with her. I tell it how it is: "Well, no. That never happened. We had discussed the interviewees, but nothing had been decided. I still don't know which one I like the best."

Kathy tries to cover by saying "Oh, I thought when we discussed them that you liked the third one the best. I must have been mistaken." She said that in such a way as to make it look like I was an idiot who didn't know how to communicate. Luckily, Turtle spoke up and said "Well, I never discussed any of them with you, Kathy, because I didn't even meet them, you dumb bitch." Except Turtle didn't say that last part. I just added it in since that is what we were both thinking.
FiFi was asking me about his friends last night. About which one I liked the best. He's been trying to hook me up with all of them (sometimes successfully...at least for a night) at one time or another. Well, if it was a choice between marrying the four of them...and after I'd already been engaged to two...and contemplating the thought of kissing hundreds of people when I know perfectly well that I can't even come up with hundreds of people I'd like to share elevator space with, though of course not at the same time, as that would make for a very crowded elevator, I think my final decision would be to create a run on sentence.
