The Star Wars Story So Far
From return of the Jedi, there has been 13 years gone by.  Jacen(8),  Anakin(6) and Jaina(8), Han Solo and Leia Organa's children have matured into the roles of becoming some of the newest Jedi Trainees.  Your can read more about them in the books: Heir to the Empire, Dark forces Rising and The Last Command, the Crystal Star and their own series named Young Jedi Knights(Jacen and Jaina) and Junior Jedi Knights (Anakin).  Leia and Han were married in the book The Courtship of Princess Leia.  Leia then changed her name to Leia Organa Solo.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker has formed his own Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, also the site taken in the movie STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE as the rebel base (You can read more about that in the Jedi Academy series: Jedi Search, Dark Apprentice, and Champions of the Force).  Luke also in one of his adventures has met Callista, a Jedi from thirty years ago that was caught in the computer aboard the terrible weapon, the Eye of Palpatine (Children of the Jedi).  Once saved from the Eye, Callista found herself without all of her Jedi powers.  Despite her own and Lukes attempts, they couldn't get them back.  Then in the Book Darksaber, there is a massive war between the remnants of the old Empire and The Jedi Academy, Callista sees a way perhaps at getting her powers back and so has to leave.  In the book Planet of Twilight, Luke is still searching for Callista.  Now takes place this Story, Till Death By Elise Stephenson.

Till Death

Slowly Callista put on her landing repulsers and went into the landing cycle of the Lovers Leap, an older ship that she had acquired through some new friends.
" Unidentified Starship please identify yourself." came over her Comm. link.
"Tionne? It's Callista.  Knock Knock? Can I come in?" she said.
"Callista! You've come back! I'll inform Master Skywalker A.S.A.P.  He'll be so glad!"
"Actually Tionne, if at all possible, I'd like to try to Surprise him."
"Sure, I'll see you when you land."
"In a bit.  "Callista muttered into the Comm. and shut it off.  It'll be so great to see her lover, the famous Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, and probably one of the most widely known people in the Universe.  While on her search to find her Jedi powers, she found that she missed him often.   Although Jedi weren't supposed to feel the need for passion and adventure, they were humans after all, weren't they.  Well at least some of them were.
As she set down her ship by the Massassi Temple in which the Jedi Master held his Jedi Academy on the fourth Moon of the giant gas planet of Yavin, she was already getting up, anxious to be 'home' again.  She grabbed her bag and went for the Exit.  Noting that it was night she picked up a flashlight and prayed silently that she hadn't woken up anyone, let alone Luke.
"Callista!  It's so good to see you again! Your hair is so much longer now!  Wow!  It's just so good to see you again!  Master Skywalker will be so... Happy!  You should have seen him while you were away!  For a while he tried to concentrate on us but in the end failed miserably!  After that he started getting better, not giving up hope that you'd come back but trusting you.  Then well it was weird!  He went to Coruscant for a while and when he came back he was so excited. Just about as excited as when he brought you here, but he wouldn't say why!  He's been like that since."
"Do you know where he is?"
"He is usually in his room resting about now.  Either that or on the Comm. with Senator Organa Solo and her Husband."
"Thank you Tionne.  Now you best get some rest.  It must be about 3!"
" About Two-Thirty actually."
"I'll see you tomorrow!"  Callista said, picking up her bags and heading towards the Temple.  As she entered the Temple she could feel the presence of so many people that she knew but she now knew in a different sense also.  Being a Jedi again may be a little difficult to get used to.
As she passed Jaina is room, Luke's niece, she could tell that she was awake.  She knocked quietly on the door.  Jaina came up and opened it.  "Callista!!!"  She said in total shock, "I knew that I felt a different Jedi!  Does Uncle Luke know?"
"Not yet but he's about to find out!  Now you had best go to sleep!"
Jaina nodded slowly and went into her room, still asking herself how different things would be now that Callista is back.
"Okay then, night."  Jaina muttered and went over to her bed.  Callista whispered goodnight and then shut the door and kept on track to Luke's room.

"I don't know about Han, Luke.  He's becoming more of a smuggler and well, out of it.  He's almost not Han anymore.  I'm just Worried."
"Well I as near as I can guess maybe he's starting to feel left out or lonely. He's the only on in his family that isn't a Jedi, maybe that's what's bugging him.  Or it could be the fact that I've 'stolen' all three of his children away from him and well your gone all the time and maybe he's just lonely."  Luke offered his sister not quite knowing what was going on inside his friends head.
"True but that never bothered him before.  He's also known since we found out I was pregnant the first time that we would be sending the children to you for training."  Leia commented lifting up her hands and lowering them, slightly defeated.
"If you don't think it's that or if you do, you could try talking to him.  Once everything is in the open, it'll make both of you feel better.  If it'll help, and if he agrees, I could try to train him.  I don't know how well it'll work or how it might affect you or the rest of the family but I could make an attempt."
"Thank you  Luke.  You're such a great help."
"Hey what are brothers for?"  Luke said shrugging.  Suddenly he remembered Callista, his lost love.  But it wasn't exactly sadness that he felt now, it was more nervousness.
Sensing his turmoil, Leia spoke into the comm. three words that woke him up again, "She'll be back."
"I know.  Now you should go get some rest."
"You too.  Goodnight Luke."
"'Night Leia."  He said and she shut off her monitor.  Luke was left there looking at a blank screen for a few moments and then he got up and went over to his window and looked up at the stars, wondering which his love was on.  Suddenly, the hair on the back of his neck stood on end and the Force told him that there was someone outside of his door.  He reached out using the Force to try to decipher who it was but it was a new but familiar presence.  He unconsciously felt his hand go over his Lightsaber and his heart quicken.  The person put their hand on the handle and turned it as Luke readied his Lightsaber.  Then the door opened and there stood
"Callista!!!"

"Han, I need to talk to you." Leia said as he walked into the room and hugged her.
"What about?" He answered with a dopey lopsided grin.
"Well, I know this sounds weird and all but, are you all right?  You've seemed so distant lately.  Almost like you don't want to be here.  Please, tell me what's bothering you." Leia urged.  Their relationship had always been so special and different.  She loved him and he loved her but whatever was bothering him was starting to stop him from showing that.  He used to kiss her passionately on the lips when she got home but lately he had just come home and hugged her.  He had seemed worried about something.  It was really starting to bother her.
Han is grin faded, "Leia? What do you mean?"
"Well, You have looked at every one so sad almost."
"Well , it's kind of  well hard to explain"
"Tell me."
"I guess being around you and Luke and even the kids has rubbed off on me.  Well you know those premonitions that you and Luke always get, Well I think I've kind of had one."  He said and looked worriedly down at his wife.
"Is it Bad?  Come sit, tell me. " she said and motioned to the couch.
"It's Jacen and I don't Like it."

"Callista!!"  Luke gasped.  He went over and hugged her and kissed her hard on the lips.  She didn't resist at all, she almost seemed to drink him up.  He pulled out of their embrace  and looked at her.  She looked so different from Cray, the young Jedi who gave her life to Callista.  Her hair was longer and she was a Jedi.  He closed his eyes, wanting to yell out to everyone that she was back.  Callista was back!  Everything was all right now! Everything!  He felt something on his arms.  He opened his eyes and saw Callista had grabbed him.  He looked into her eyes and saw concern.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Oh! Sorry!  It's just that you're back!!"
"Oh!  I thought that maybe I gave You a Heart attack or something!"
"No, no everything is all right.  You are back and so are your powers!"
"You bet!  I went back to Chad  and redid my training as best I could.  Once I did that I found that I had to defeat my dark side.  And did, so I came back."  Luke grabbed her arms to make sure  that it was her.  He looked at her.  It was just amazing that she came back.  Callista returned his look and kissed him again.  Luke didn't mind all that much.  Suddenly Luke pulled away and looked forlornly at her.
"Luke, what's wrong?  Are you all right?"
"Callista, Do you love me?  I  mean really love me?  With all your heart?  Forever?"
"Yes!  You know that!  What's the matter Luke?  Are you dying or something?  What's up?"
"Cally,  Callista.  I love you with all my heart and always will.   I have a question I need to ask you.  A question that I have wanted to ask you almost from the day I brought you to Yavin 4."  Luke motioned her over to his bed where she sat down and he stood in front of her.  At this moment in time, Luke Skywalker looked like the last person in the universe that you would expect to see as the hero of the Rebel Alliance and A Jedi Master, but a young country boy from Tatooine, nervous and anxious all at once. He bent down in front of her on one knee.  Callista looked down at him and things started to fit into place.  She pulled back slightly afraid of what he might say or ask next.
"Callista, I love you.  Please, do me the honor of being my wife."  Callista looked into his eyes  and already knew the answer.  Smiling she watched the man she knew as probably the most courageous man in her life looking as if his entire life was being held on the answer of this question.  With time growing between the answer and the question, Callista could see Luke getting more and more nervous.
"Well, oh my.  Well Yes.  Of course I'll marry you! I love you!"  Luke looked at her.  His eyes grew as big as the smile that was growing on his face.  He looked at the ground and then back at her.  He stood up and Looked at her again.  He grabbed her arms and brought her to meet him.  He kissed her hard on the lips and then lifted her up high in the air and brought her down, kissing her again.  In the background Callista could hear someone rushing towards them.   They heard the door open up and Tionne stare at them like they were mad.  Luke grabbed something from his pant pocket.  It was a small black box which contained a diamond ring that was surrounded by two gold hands.  "Oh Luke, It's beautiful!  Oh Luke!"  She said upon setting her eyes on the ring.  She started to giggle again noticing the fact that a small crowd of Jedi trainees had gathered outside the door, wondering what the commotion was that was coming from the Jedi Master's room.
"They're getting Married!"  Jaina said to all the trainees to help them to understand what was going on.  "You know what Jacen?  We're going to have an Aunt!  Cool!"
"I love you Luke Skywalker!"  Callista murmured so that only Luke could hear her.
"And I love you Callista."  Luke said and kissed her again but this time they were drowned out by the Jedi trainees and knights Ooooing and Awwwing.

"Okay Chewy, Let's start the Landing cycle.  Put the Repulsers on."  Lando said to his furry copilot.  Lando had been planning a get-away to his old city on Bespine for a while and when Han had offered to let him bring Chewbacca, his Wookiee 'friend' with him, he couldn't really say no.  Who knows how dangerous his city would be if some gangster had set up base there or something.  The Lady Luck, Lando is ship was a great one at that.  Speed of light and all was pretty nice to have around, even though he was decent and no longer a smuggler.  All those years ago he gave up his Cloud City to the Empire unwillingly, all pretty much for Luke.  Not that it mattered much anymore.  Throughout the years he had had many cities that were taken over one way or another, just one more on the list.  Luke was a friend, and now, way more important than any city.  Amazing what some people will do for a friend.
"We see you now.  Identify yourself."  Blurted over the comm.  Lando looked over at Chewbacca to see if he had any idea who this was.
"  Who is this and What are you doing in my city?  This is Lando Calrissian and the Lady Luck.  Whoever is there has a lot to answer for!"  Lando said into the Comm. thoroughly annoyed at having to ask permission to get onto his own landing platforms of his own city.  Whoever this was going to have to answer to A mad human and his good Wookiee friend.  Poor guy.
"Lando!  Lando Calrissian!  It's you!  What are you doing here?"
" Well it's kind of my city!  Who is this?"
"Oh sorry!  It's Thomas!  Thomas McKribbon.  Here, you can land on docking bay number 7. Oh Finally!"
Lando shut off the Comm. and noticed Chewbacca giving him an odd look.   "He's an old friend.  I think." he muttered  full of questions himself.

"Jacen!  What is it Han!  Tell me!!!"  Leia said almost frantic.
"Calm down!  I'll tell you, just calm down!  It's probably just a dream.  I can just see myself walking down the street by you and with the kids following then suddenly Jaina starts screaming and Jacen is lying there on the ground dead.  We never did figure out  what happened."
"Where?  No blastmarks? Nothing? Just Dead?  Dead!"
"Shhhh.  It's probably just a dream!  Nothing at all.  Maybe it's stress or something.  You know."
"Okay but I want you to tell it to Luke anyway,  I'm sure that he can tell us what it is."
"Councilor Organa Solo?  Councilor Organa Solo?  Incoming call."  The Comm. Rang
"Well Luke, as usual great timing!  Screen on." Leia said sitting in front of the screen as Han moved in behind her.  There on the screen was Luke and Callista.  A smiling couple if she'd ever seen one.  "Told you I did, Come back she would."  Leia said to Luke mimicking his old instructor.
"Best Yoda impression I've heard in a while." Luke said as he could almost hear the old Jedi Master muttering behind him at such disrespect and then he could also hear Obi-Wan Kenobi, One of his other Jedi Masters in the background chuckling softly to himself.
"Well did you?"
"Yup."  Callista looked down towards her Fianc with a little a bit of confusion.  Not knowing what it would be like to have siblings to share secrets with, Callista wished that she had.    Even though she knew that Luke had never had been with Leia as a child and had only realized when he was about 23 that Leia was his sister, must have put a damper of some sort onto this type of relationship. Luke had gone through so much during those years, the lose of Obi-Wan, his Aunt and Uncle, his father, his hand!  Callista had much admiration for her Fiance.  His life was much harder than hers at that age.
"And?"
"Yes. She  said Yes!" Luke said, regaining all that excitement that he had had earlier.  After the entire Academy found out of Luke's proposal, Luke had to call his sister to tell her.  Apparently this was quite a lucky week  for Luke.  Some of his first students, had come to visit, Callista had came back, he was to be married to the woman he loves, and his other nephew, Anakin had come to begin his training, Jacen and Jaina had just started their Lightsaber training, the last part of his training to become a Jedi.  All in all, Luke was quite happy with his life at the moment.
"Oh Luke! Congratulations!!!"
"Will someone tell me WHAT'S GOING ON??"  Han interrupted
"They're getting married!"  Leia beamed.  She looked almost like it was her getting married.
"That's great Kid.  Congrats."  Han said finally understanding the whole conversation.  "What's the date?"
"We have yet to figure that out."  Luke said looking over at his lover.  He felt on top of the world when she was by his side and now, even more so.
"How about a visit?  We'll shove outta here on the Falcon and meet you in a day or two?"  Han volunteered figuring out that they would probably need it, besides, Luke was there for them at their weeding, it'd be only fair.
"That'll be great!"  Callista answered for Luke, but suddenly he attention was drawn away from the screen to a student who had demanded her attention.  "Luke, I gotta go.  I think Zibin needs my help." Zibin, a new student to the Academy who had only arrived today was having trouble with something so he went after Callista.  Callista kissed Luke on the cheek and went off to help Zibin.  Luke turned a bright red as she kissed him.  He still wasn't used to being kissed in front of Leia and Han.
"She's a prize ain't she kid?"  Han commented remembering his first comment about her being 'the blond with the legs'.  He smiled to himself.
"You bet.  One of the best things to happen to me since well you guys."
"She really loves you."  Leia noticed
"I really hope so."
"We had better go.  We have a meeting..."
"With one of the delegates of a far away planet who was ruled by the Empire.  I know!  When haven't you?  I had better be off.  I'll see you in a bit."  Leia gave Luke an evil glare and then couldn't help but smile.  She did always have some kind of meeting going on, that's what being Head Of State comprised of.  It's life.
"See ya in a few days."  Han said
"Take it easy Leia.  I don't want you to be tired the whole time that you are here.  You really look like you need to take a break."  Luke said to his sister.
"I will.  I'll call before we leave."
"Okay Bye."  Luke said and turned off the communicator.

"Lando, how ya' doing ol' buddy?"   Thomas McKribbon said as he went out to greet his old smuggling buddy.  McKribbon was a shorter and chubbier fellow.  He was always a jolly kinda person.  Never one to really take life seriously unless need be.  A lot like Han was in that respect.
"Same ol', same ol'.  How about you?"
"Worried.  My sources ain't too good but they been telling me that you and Han got Respectable.  Say it ain't so!"
"In a way.  You must have been in another galaxy for a while 'cause it's been a long time those rumors been round."
"A few years.  Last I knew the Empire was in the lead and the Death Star was Blown.  I came here after you 'cause well I kinda blew up a few Star Destroyers and got the Empire kinda pissed.  No one was here and so I made Camp.  Been here since."
"That's a while if I ever heard of one.  You got a lot of catching up to do.  I'll unload some of my stuff to your computer.  Now I have a question for you.  Why are you here?"
"Hunh?"
"My city remember?"
"Well, it's kind of a long story.  But, this city ain't yours any more"

"Now remember Jacen.  The Lightsaber is an elegant weapon.  Not as clumsy a weapon or as random as a blaster but just as effective, if not better."  Luke said remembering his first time seeing a lightsaber and the words told to him by his first instructor. "It can kill just as well but there is no stun."
"Uncle Luke! I'm 8 not 3!  Gimmie a break." Jacen Solo said giving his Uncle a look telling him to give him some Credit.
"I know but you have to have these things stuck in your memory.  Your sister did the same thing that you just did too. I just..."
"Luke?"
"Here, hold on.  Yes?"  Luke said turning around to face his lover with a worried look in her eyes.
"I need to talk to you alone."
"Is it urgent?"  Callista nodded  "Okay well then, Tionne?  Will you stay here and help Anakin with his Lightsaber practice?  Thanks." Luke called out to Tionne, a Jedi knight that chosen to stay and help out at the Academy.
"Sorry I'll be quick."
"Okay, what's up?"  Luke said as they walked towards the Great Temple.  On the top of the Temple was one of her favorite places.  She drew him up there.  He put his arm around her shoulders.

"We need to get away, you and I."  Han commented to Leia after the meeting.
"What?"  Leia asked.
"We...need.. to.. get...away...,...you...and...I"  Han repeated slower emphasizing each word.
"Well I understood that but why?"
"Well, We almost never get away alone unless it's business and even then we have kids usually along.  I just want to be with you."
"Where is this coming from?"
"You saw Luke and Callista.  I remember briefly when we were like that and truthfully I enjoyed it.  I feel kinda like we need to 'revive the spark' in our relationship."
"That's so... sweet! I don't think that that's such a bad idea.  We could go a few weeks after their Honeymoon and leave the kids with Winter and Threepio, even though they probably think they're too old for that.  We could go to... well I don't know where, we'll figure that out later"  She grabbed his arms and hugged him
"So you like the idea, your Highnessness."
"Yes I do you scoundrel."
"Cause if you..."  Even though Han usually minded when he was interrupted, Han never hated being kissed, especially as nicely as Leia kissed him now.

"What do you mean NOT MINE!"  Lando asked very annoyed, "After all the work that I did on it and I paid for all of it!  You have a lot of guts peeing me off.  I got some good friends in real high places."
"Hey!  Back off!  Once the Empire came they took  it and than sold it, or as the logs state.  I came and then one day that man accidentally died."
"Who was this unlucky fellow?"  Still thoughly annoyed at Thomas but more so at the old Empire
" Tainkes or something"
"Tiola Taniks?"
"Yeah.  That's gotta be it.  Fat, stumpy real stupid?"
" Yup.  Not someone I'll really miss.  He kinda really liked my city and wanted to buy it.  Makes Sense."
"Even?"
"YOU call that... Oh well.  I got another city going.  Don't really need to clean up this one.  Waste of money."
"Here, you must be tired from your trip and want to get a snooze or two in.  I'll show you to your quarters."
"If I may inquire.  Did you turn my old room into a cafeteria or anything?  I always liked that room the most."
"Nah.  Guest room."
"Great, just great"

"Captain Coretia, we have reports coming in.  In total we have two fully operational Stardestroyers, four that need to make some repairs, and ten thousand men."
"That's it!?!?  We've gone from ruling the universe to 4 and a half ships!"
"Well some of them are almost all done their repairs."
"Sarcasm dear Conar, Sarcasm."
"Yes Sir"
"Okay then.  Well if Intelligence is correct, Solo and his wife are off to go visit their  brother and kids.  That leaves no real big delegates on Coruscant, so it would be the perfect place to strike.  The Empire will rule again."
"If I may inquire sir, but how can we do all this?  You yourself said that we looked pretty pitiful."
"With a few modifications, this Stardestroyer can be more powerful than you think."
"Uh Yes sir"
"Oh yes and Lieutenant, we are not really that pitiful."
"Yes sir, sorry sir."

"You see Luke, and then Jacen dies.  I just don't understand why it's on Chad.  It just makes no sense.  The strange part is that it doesn't feel like it will, if it does really happen, like it will happen then.  The pieces just don't fit."
"You say that this comes from Han point of view.  That's out of the ordinary.  Maybe we should talk to Han about it, he may know more about it than us."
"I'm sorry."
"For what?  A premonition?  The future?  You and I know that there is no way we can control either of those things.  It's not your fault."  Luke put an arm around her.  She leaned her head on his shoulders deep in thought.  Luke had no idea what to do.  After some time, Luke remembered his duties and left her.  She looked up at the setting sun as it shone on her face.  Silently, to herself she tried as she had before to call to her old master.  "Dijinn,  please.  Help me!"

"Okay Threepio, already to go?"
"Yes sir.  As always I have planned a great many things that we could talk about on the way to Yavin Four.  Four and Half days."
"Are you a bit excited about seeing Artoo?" Han said rolling his eyes, not expecting anything more than...
"Sir, it is beyond my capabities to miss anyone or thing.  You must know that full well.  But I do look forward to seeing him, Master Luke and the young masters Anakin, Jaina and Jacen."
"Right.  And you are not a storyteller also?"  Han was about to go check on the Hyperdrive one last time when he was interrupted.
"Han?"
"Wedge?  What are you doing here?  Come to see us off?"  Han turned around to see his old pal Wedge Antillies.  Han asked giving him a dopey lopsided grin.  "Gonna miss us?"
"Well, actually no but anyway, you know those schematics I gave you to look over, the defense ones?  Well Do you still have'em?"
"Nah!  I put them on your desk."
"Oh.  Okay.  Have a good trip.  Say Hi to Luke and the rest of the gang for me."  Wedge said changing the topic but still trying to come across as being cheery.  He wasn't doing a very good job.  "Hey, Wedge?  What's up?  You look nervous."  Leia said coming up and joining in on their conversation.
"Oh nothing."  He answered and Leia gave Han a questioning look.  Han just shrugged his shoulders.  "I had better be off.  Have a good trip."  Wedge bowed politely to Leia and left.  He still had that look on his face as he left.
"What was that about?"  Leia asked.
"I don't know.  Probably nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"No but we gotta get outta here.  We gotta get to Yavin before Luke and Callista get too mushy on us!"
"I don't know.  I think that Luke is way too much of a gentleman to get too mushy."  Leia said thinking of her brother in many past instances.  He had always been too gentle for his own good.  I guess that is what Leia had Liked him so much for when they had first met.  Eager to please, he was then, he had grown so, haunted before he met Callista.  Truthfully, she was almost too afraid that one day he would go into isolation, like his masters and leave them.  It seemed so unlikely but then was the rest of her life.  Sometimes Luke was the scariest person that she had ever met.  He had had such a hard life for so long.   Callista seemed to be the only person to bring the first Luke back.  The boy from Tatooine.
"You all loaded?"   Han said putting a hand around her waist, waking her from her thoughts.  She looked up at him and kissed him lightly on the lips and went into the Millennium Falcon.

Even though Jacen had the opportunity to have a lightsaber duel with his sister any time,  Jacen always loved fighting his Uncle the most.  He was the hardest but yet he knew that he would not get hurt, at least by his Uncle.  He was getting better and soon he could build his own lightsaber.
"You have to be a bit more defensive Jacen.  I could have just as easily cut you down right then.  Don't enjoy seeing my students getting their heads chopped off.  Not to good an image for the Academy."  Luke said shutting off his lightsaber  and smiling thoughtfully at his nephew.
"You are unwise to lower your defenses Uncle."  Jacen said mimicking Darth Vader on the second Death Star.
"Oh Am I?"  Luke said looking down at his nephew  with one eyebrow slightly raised. It brought Luke much joy to have Jacen so eager be with their Uncle.  With no children of his own, for the time being, Luke enjoyed sharing Leia's and Han's with them.  Luke still felt a little uneasy at the fact that he had taken away Leia's kids to teach them to be Jedi.  It would also be dangerous for the not to be taught to...
"Uncle Luke? "  Luke was caught in mid thought by the sound of Jacen's voice.  Suddenly  Callista's premonition/dream came back to him.  He looked  at Jacen,  "Are you all right?"
"Fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
'I'm going to go do some meditating.  all right?"
"Sure go."
"Are you sure that you are all right?"
"Go ahead."  Luke said and watched Jacen turn and leave heading into the Jungle.  He always had loved animals.

Settled in his old room, Lando was looking over old logs while Chewy was exploring.  Something about his old smuggling buddy didn't quite make sense.  He was too protective.  Well years can do that to a man, but isolation was something pretty outta character for Thomas.
"Lando?"
"Thomas!  I didn't hear you come in."
"I noticed.  Those logs that interesting?"
"Just lost in thought."
"Well Dinner's ready."
"You have synthesizers?"
"Well, Tiola Tainks did."
"Taniks.  That doesn't surprise me.  What's up for dinner?"  Lando asked changing the subject.  As they walked down the corridor to the food lounge, Lando realized that this end of the city stayed in reasonable condition.  As they walked into the lounge Lando was surprised to see that it was set all nice.
"We don't have guests very often.  When you eat supper with the same 20 people everyday, you don't see much point in getting all nice but figured if I showed you I was a good guy, you would let me stay here."
"Ahh.  Bribe.  For a second I thought you were going to court me.  Well..."
"Let's chow down.  It's a Comatori dish, Duck."
"Duck?"
"A bird of some kind.  It's good."  Thomas said while digging into his own dish.   Looking down at his own disk, Lando willed up all of his courage.  Here goes nothing.

"Captain on the bridge."  Conar shouted as Captain Coretia entered the Bridge.
"No need for such formalities Lieutenant.  Thanks anyway.  Now Ensign Hama, are the modifications done?"
"On schedule SIR!"  The young Ensign shouted at his superior officer."
"Okay.  What's with this sir stuff?  Just leave it as Capt'n okay?  Everyone got that?"  He said speaking to the entire bridge crew.
"Yes sir capt'n sir"  Ensign Hama said.  Having served under Grand Admiral Thrawn for so long must have worn down their nerves.  "Okay, Ensign Attrelli, How long until Coruscant?"
"Two and a half days sir,   sorry Capt'n"
"Perfect.  I'll be in my ready room if any one needs me."  He said walking out of the room.  Kevin Coretia was never much of a decorator.  He enjoyed reading and that was well displayed as the ready room walls were covered in books.  He sat down on his chair and picked up the book that he had been reading recently.  Books were far superior to those microchips that displayed the words.  Truthfully, Captain Kevin Coretia was an odd ball.  He felt that the crew should be friends, not a king and his peons, but after so much training, the poor people that served under him were too afraid to be themselves when he was around. They were told, well ordered to be peons and so they were.  The doorbell rang.
"Come in."
"Captain?"
"Yes Conar?"
"Are you all right?  You were so friendly?"
"Is that a problem?"
"No, it's just so, so..."
"Different?"
"Yes captain.  The crew is used to feeling well worthless and now they feel as though they are your friends.  Scared but your friends.  Yesterday you were so..."
"Crabby.  So I had an off day.  Is that a problem?  I'm much better now."
"May I ask why?"
"Conar, Tilin, we're going to be in the record books!  That doesn't happen everyday."
"Point well taken Captain"
"Now if you would go tell the crew that no, I'm not insane and remind them that they are doing a great job.  My Ethics maybe different than those of others but they work."
"Yes Captain sir."
"Just Capt'n."
"Permission to speak freely Captain?"
"Weren't we already but yes always."
"All I want to say is Thankyou."  The stubby Human Lieutenant said before leaving.  The Captain was left there a bit happier

"Luke!"  Leia said getting off the Falcon  and hugging her brother.  Luke Skywalker returned the hug and stepped over to Han
"Thanks for coming out.  It's real nice of you..."
"Hey you did it for us Kid.  Gotta be fair.  Don't like owing people.  Usually gets me into trouble."  Han said remembering back to Jabba the Hutt.  Not his favorite moment in life.  Han noticed the kids standing patiently back a bit.  He could tell that even through all of their Jedi training, they still liked having ol' pops around.  He couldn't really say the same about himself at that age.
"Hey kids.  Gonna give Dad and Mom a hug or not?"  The kids ran up and gave both parents hugs and kisses.  Luke and Callista had stepped back, and were holding each other, Callista's head on Lukes shoulder.  Han could tell what they were thinking.  They were hoping to have kids of their own someday.  Han never really thought about it but he could be an uncle one day!  From a smuggler to a dad and family man all in one lifetime was not in his original plans, truthfully, he didn't really expect to live this long.`
When the kids were done, Leia stood up and looked at her brother, smiling.  Her smile faded as she remembered Han's dream.  "Luke, we need to talk to you."
"As do we.  In private.  Come let's go to the Temple.  We can talk there."  Luke offered.  Leia was surprised.  Luke wasn't usually one to want to speak in private at his academy.  Something must have been going on.
"Kids?  Your mom and I need to talk to your Uncle and Callista alone for a bit.  Threepio's in the Falcon   Why don't you bring him out,  show him Artoo and Harrass him a bit.  He's missed you surprisingly."  Han said to his kids remembering all the havoc they put Threepio through.  He had done his best but the kids always liked Threepio, for trying too hard.  Han didn't mind Threepio going insane  with the kids.  Han wasn't  Threepio's best friend in the world, he never understood how Artoo could put up with him.
"Sure.  Threepio?"  The kids yelled running off to the Falcon.

"Okay Luke what's up?"  Leia asked her brother as they sat down, "You usually don't mind talking in front of your students."
"Actually Leia, it's not his fault.  It's mine.  I had this dream about Jacen and you see..."
"You had one too!  on a planet where he..."  Han interrupted
"Dies.  Yes.  I knew that there was some reason why I saw it through your eyes.  It was so odd.  My home planet.  But why?  Why would Jacen ever have to go to Chad?"  Callista paused thinking of the alternatives  "Oh no!  It's my fault!  Oh no!"
"What?  What's your fault?"
"I need some stuff from Chad for the Weeding!  Oh no!"  Callista cried and put her head down on the table.
"Well that's simple enough.  We just won't let him go to Chad.  All solved."  Leia said after a brief pause.
"I guess that could work."  Callista said  "But I think that we should tell Jacen the whole story now.  He might know what was happening."
"Good idea.  I was going to tell him anyway."  Han said standing up.  "I'll go get him now."
"Actually,"  Luke said standing up, "I'll get him.  I could probably find him the fastest.  He might have left Jaina and Anakin and gone off into the forest."
"Sure, whatever.  No big deal."

"Not too bad.  What was it?  Duke?"  Lando asked.
"Duck."
"Oh yah.  Well I think I'm up for a walk now.  Wanna come Chewy?"  And he looked at his comrade who was scarfing down another helping of Corn.  Chewy came to the dinner late, he was out exploring and found that Lando had left him a brief note telling him where he was.  He roared a positive.  Lando looked over at Thomas.
"No.  I got a lot of catching up to do."
"Okay.  Thanks for dinner.  It was good."
"Thanks.  You may want an escort.  It's not all that safe out there.  Especially the western wing.  Don't want you dead or anything."
"Nah.  I got Chewy.  He's all the escort I'll ever need"
"Sure.  Just be careful."  Thomas warned as Lando stood up and left.

"I think Thomas was right about these floors.  I can hear every creak and groan.  You feel that breeze?"  Lando said looking down at the floor.  Suddenly Lando fell right through the floor.  He pushed his hand out and grabbed what was left and felt a harry hand grab him.  Chewy had him.  Or at least he hoped.

"Jacen?"  Luke called out in his mind.
"Yah?"  He heard in his head.
"Just a sec"  Luke called out and darted past a few boulders and than saw his nephew squatting on the ground reaching for a snake.  It was a snake that Luke had never seen before but knew well.  It was a Lindz snake, a grumpy, poisonous snake that hated people.  By the Way Jacen was approaching it, Luke could tell that Jacen had no idea what kind of snake it was.
"Jacen,  No!  Don't touch that snake!"
"Don't Worry Uncle Luke"  Jacen said still approaching it.  Luke ran towards his nephew purely by instinct , to pull him away but it was of no use.  Just before Luke got to Jacen the snake Leapt up and sank its teeth into Jacen's arm.  He cried out in pain if not surprise.  Luke used the force to throw the snake away but it was too late.  Jacen looked down at his wound as it was slowly going black.  Luke quickly picked him up and Started running with him to the Temple.
"Uncle Luke!  What's going on?!  I'm 16! I can walk!"
"Sorry kiddo.  Not with a lidz snake bite.  That poison will slow you down fast."
"Poison.  Not problem.  I'll just use my Jedi talents to push the toxins out.  That easy." Jacen said trying to concentrate.
Then He felt Jacen go limp in his arms, but not in any Jedi trance.  The boy had fainted.
Luke pushed open the door to the Medilab and laid him down on the table.  The Medical droid Two-OneBee came over and asked what had happened.  Luke told him all that he knew.  The droid told him to leave and he did so reluctantly.  He went over to the Comm and called Leia and Han down quick,
A few moments later, Leia, Callista and Han appeared in the doorway out of breath.  Luke stood up and told them everything that he knew.  Leia sat down in a stunned trance.  It came true, kindof.  Their son would probably die.  Callista who was spectating all of this, stood up and walked out of the room.  She went outside to get some air and say a prayer.  She stepped back inside and looked into see an empty room.  She went into the medi lab and saw all three of them looking over the sleeping boy.  Leia's eyes filled with tears and she started to cry.  Han picked her up much the way Luke had done to Jacen, and Carried her out of the room.  Callista nodded, meaning for Luke to go see them. Leia needed to be comforted as did Han.  She wanted to stay.  Luke gave her a quick kiss and left.   She went over and sat by the boy's bed with one hand on his forehead.

"Okay now Chewy.  Just pull me up and hurry please."  Lando begged the Wookiee.  Chewbacca lifted him up all in one motion, putting him on the floor next to him.  Lando took a few breaths and than stood up." Close to the predicament that Luke was put into, but I have both of my hands and Vader ain't my Dad."  Lando joked knowing how far he would have fallen if not for Chewy had made him a little nervous.  It was a far drop.  A lot too far.  "Thanks chewy.  Your great."  Lando said, "Now I think it would be a good idea for us too get out of here."  Chewy roared a positive and they left.  Lando wasn't afraid of dying, it just didn't look good on him.

"Captain?  We have only one hour until we get to Coruscant.  The Stardestroyers are in the best possible shape."
"Okay.  Inform the troops that the Stardestroyers are to all come out at different times.  Not all at once.  We want as much advantage as possible."
"Yes Captain."
"I'm trusting you Conar."
"I'll do my best Captain."
"That's what you?re supposed to do"

Luke sat there staring at the wall in the waiting room.  After taking Leia out of the Medilab they came in here and sat down and cried. After a bit, they were both asleep.  They had just come in and were likely still tired from the trip.  Luke woke them and took them to their rooms where they would sleep better.  He came back here and just sat patiently.  Luke also took this opportunity to call in the other two kids and tell them about the situation.  Anakin went to his parents room and Jaina just left, expressionless. Luke had sat there a while and then went into the Medilab.  There he found Callista lying on the motionless body of Jacen.  Asleep.
He went over and nudged her on the shoulder.  "Callista?  Let's get you to your room."  Callista stood up silently and leaned on Luke's shoulder as they walked to her room.  She was quiet the whole way.  He laid her down on her bed and started to leave.  As he was leaving Callista suddenly cried out "No!"
Luke spun on his heels and turned to face her.  She looked at him with intense gray eyes.  "Please don't leave me.  Please"
Luke went over to her side and kissed her on the forehead.  "You need some sleep."
"Then stay until I get to sleep."  She said urgently.
Luke pulled over a chair and held her hand.
"No, come lie here beside me.  It'll be more comfortable."
"I don't know.  It wouldn't be very..."
"Then don't do anything dirty.  Just Lie here, okay."  Luke got up from his chair and laid down on the bed next to her.  She rested her head on his chest and in a few moments they were both fast asleep.

The next morning, Luke awoke to find himself lying on Callista's bed with Callista lying in the same position as the night before.  He kissed her gently on the forehead hoping that it would wake he.  It proved unsuccessful.  He nudged her gently and than got no more response.  He put his hand in front of her mouth to check her breathing.  She barely was.  He lifted her up and carried her to the Medilab.

"How is she?"  Leia said as Luke left the Medilab, having been kicked out.  When he brought Callista to the Medilab, he found the entire Solo family, including Jacen, up and all right.  Jacen was okay. As relieved as Luke should have been, he didn't feel it.  His Callista was lying there on the Medilab bed, hovering just above death.  The worst part is that Luke knew why.  "Luke, tell me."  Leia begged.
"She'll be fine."  Luke said hoping that Leia would believe him.  She obviously didn't.
"Luke, I'm so sorry.  But please tell me the truth.  How is she?"  Leia said looking at him.  His delicate features were molded emotionless.  His eyes had lost their brightness and sparkle and were cast downwards.  He looked up at her and stared right into her eyes.  "She's hovering just above death, trying to fight a loosing battle."
"A loosing battle against what?"
"Leia, the way that Jacen got better is that Callista took the toxins from his body and transferred them to herself thinking that she could fight them but forgetting how weak she would be from the transferring process.  Then having lost a lot of energy in the process, she tried to fight them.  There's nothing anyone can do.  She's put up a shield around herself to stop us from doing the same thing as she did.  A mental shield.  I just don't..."  Luke said trying to push back tears.                "She didn't!  Why?"  Han asked surprised that she would do such a thing.
"She's a Jedi and knows how much the universe needs Jacen.  She knew what she had to do and did it.  That's how she always has been."  Luke explained and then looked up into space.
"She'll be fine I'm sure Luke.  She's strong.  You yourself said that she's a Jedi.  I know at least two Jedi that are close to me that have been in worse scrapes than that.  You remember when you had just made the Jedi academy and you took a 'trip' outside of your body?  And you, honey have been across the Galaxy with your kids and people have tried to kill you before.  No big deal. She'll come out just fine I bet."
"I'm sure Luke said and then re-entered the Medilab.  After a few minutes, Leia figured that Two-OneBee hadn't thrown him out so then it was finished.

Luke went over to the bed and pulled a chair that was nearby over to the bed.  He sat down and stared at his Sleeping Beauty.  He thought of the times that he had had with her and then stared to weep.

"Well I'm outta here.  I just wanted a look at my baby."  Lando told Thomas as Chewy started to warm up the ship.
"Any time Lando."
"Just one thing, I know how, well she's yours, but try to take care of her.  She a good place, when you treat her well.  You see she'll..."
"Lando you old Lug.  Just get out of here.  I'll keep her safe.  Hey, we've already got started on repairs on the eastern side.   Now get out of here.  Bye Chewbacca."  Thomas yelled into the ship and got no response.  After Lando almost fell through the floor, Chewy liked Thomas even less.  "Okay then, well you take it easy Lando.  Now get off my city."  Thomas said giving Lando a pat on the back.
"Fine.  I'll see you around and hey, if you ever need me, just gimmie a call on Coruscant."  Lando said and turned around onto the Lady Luck's landing platform and yelled to Chewy to get ready for Launch.  Lando knew full well that the city was safe but still, he felt that it was his.  Only his.

Luke woke up or so he thought on his bed in his room.  He blinked his eyes a few times and sat up.  He looked around the room but was startled to see a woman and a young child sitting in a rocking chair across the room from him.  He started to open his mouth when the woman looked up from the child and saw him.
"Your awake!  You slept in!"  She said getting up and slowly walked over to the bed.  She sat down beside where he was lying.
"What?  Who are you?  What are you doing in here?"  He asked.
"Sheesh?  You never acted like this when Cally was born!  Are you all right Luke?"  She said and put a hand on his forehead. "Here I'll call the Medilab and have them give you a quick run over.  You don't look so hot."  She said and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"No I'm fine.  But you still have yet to tell me who you are."  Luke said
"You really aren't well.  Luke, I'm your wife Sarah and this is your son Cel.  And those footsteps you hear running towards us is your daughter Callista."  The woman said as a young two year old girl came running through the door.
"Daddy.  Daddy!  Auntie Leia wants to talk to you so get dressed.  She'll be here soon she said.
"Leia?"
"Yea now get outta bed.  Artoo is beepin' for you too."
"Here, I'll watch the kids.  You go."  The woman who was supposedly his wife said and stood up.  He could feel her pain with every step.  He hopped out of the bed and helped her to a chair.  "Are you all right?"  he asked.
"All right?  Honey.  After five hours of Labor and you are asking me if I'm all right?  You go talk to Leia and I'll be fine.  Cally here will help me right?"
"Okey dokey mommy."  The three year old said and rushed over to her mothers side.  Luke took a quick look over himself.  He looked about five years too old this morning.  His did a quick run through his hair and grabbed a shirt noticing that he was left in his pants.  As he walked down the hall he heard a voice behind him.
"Luke?  Luke wake up.  Please Wake up!"  Suddenly the hallway melted into darkness.  He closed his eyes and opened them again.  As he opened them the Medilab and his lover came into focus.  Beside him Leia was frantic with relief.  He had been asleep.  That why nothing made sense.  He looked at her questionably.
"Leia?  What wrong?" he asked.
"Luke?  What's wrong?!  I find my brother lying unmoving on his girlfriend who's unconscious and has just about committed suicide!  I was worried that what's wrong!  I don't want you to die for her as she has almost done for Jacen!  As selfish as that sounds, I need you.  The Academy needs you!  The entire galaxy needs you!  I'm thankful to her and all but..."
"Your welcome."  A voice said behind them.  Luke spun around to find his girlfriend awake on the bed.
"Callista!"
"Shhh. Luke.  I need you to be quiet.  Look you and I know that I'm dying.  I just needed to tell you this.  I'm sorry.  I came back and now I have to go.  I love you Luke and always will.  I need you to take care of the gang for me.  Especially Jacen, he owes me big time."  Callista whispered.  "Please just for me.  They need you."
"Don't talk that way.  You'll be fine."
"Luke,  one last thing.  Will you just kiss me once more.  Please." Callista begged.  Luke turned away not wanting to allow her to die.  He looked at his hands and saw that Callista had place one of hers one his.  She squeezed  his hand lightly.  He looked at her.  Her eyes begged him to kiss her.  And he never really could say no to her.  He bent forward and kissed her lightly on the lips.  She kissed him back but was gone by the end of the of the kiss.  Her hand went limp on his and she took a last breath.  Luke looked at her lifeless body disappear before him leaving only the ring and the clothing that she was wearing the night before.  Luke had seen so many people die before but this one hurt the most.  He felt as if his heart had been ripped out of him and then became aware again that Leia was still in the room.  He didn't dare look up at her now that in a matter of minutes he would once again be crying for his Callista.  Leia put a hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze.
"Luke, I'm so sorry."  Leia said and then left silently to tell the others.  He let all of his feelings of remorse vent out on the bed where his lover had died and cried.

"Luke, are you all right?"  Han asked getting up as Luke walked out of the Medilab red eyed and quiet.  His eyes held that haunted look again as he looked up at Han.  "If there's anything I can do for you..."
"Thankyou but no.  If any one needs me, I'll be in my room."
"Uncle Luke?"
"Yes Jacen?"  Luke answered without even looking down at him from the wall in front of them.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault.  If I hadn't..."
"It happens.  Just learn from your mistakes."  Luke interrupted starting to walk away almost in a trance.  As he left the Solo family watched him in silence.  They were all he now had, except this ring.  He slipped the ring into his pocket not wanting to remember that she even existed.  As he opened the door to his room he felt a strange presence.  He looked around the room and saw nothing.  He sat down on his bed.  He looked down at the floor and felt that presence again.  He looked up and saw Callista surrounded by a blue aura.  He blinked his eyes and saw that she was still there.  She had appeared to him as Obi-Wan, Yoda and his father had before.
"Luke, I'm sorry."
"It's all right.  I'll be fine."
"Oh, I know that.  Luke, you?re strong.  The galaxy does need you.  I'm where I should be.  I should  have died back on the Eye of Palpatine."
"No.  If you had, I would have died also.  You did what you had to."
"I wimped out.  I should never have lived and then I wouldn't have caused you so much grief.  For that I feel bad.  But that is the past.  It is irreversible.  What I really came to say is that you shouldn't be afraid of the future.  It is vital that you don't dwell on the past or you will see me sooner than you should.  That's what happens to people who dwell on the long gone and their past friends and lovers.  They die longing to be with them.  Luke, you got over Obi-Wan, your Aunt and Uncle,  your father, your mother, your friends and now you have to get over me.  I love you Luke and I'm glad that I did wimp out, because otherwise I wouldn't have met you.  You?re one of the best things that has happened in my life.  I have to leave now.  Obi-Wan, Yoda and your father all send their love as well as your Aunt and Uncle and Biggs."
"Thank you.  Thank you for 'wimping out'."  Luke said as Callista faded out and Leia walked in the door.
"Who wimped out?"
"Oh nothing.  Luke said standing up.  Leia gave him a hug and he returned it.  It felt good to have someone hold him.
"Are you going to be all right?  I know how much she means to you.  She's really a prize."
"I know.  She was.  But what's done is done." Luke said smiling slightly at the thought of Callista being with him always.  He guided a very confused Leis out of the door and walked with her to the Outside of the Temple keeping silent as he climbed to the roof with Leia behind him.  Leia, not sure how Luke would handle this, just followed him up.  His life had been so difficult and Leia was worried that maybe her brother had been pushed too far.
"Luke what's up?  What are we doing up here?"  Leia said catching her breath.  Luke just kept looking at the sunset.
"I looked at the Suns Set before I went after Artoo on that morning of the day that I met you.  This is the place that Callista used to love to talk at too.  Especially at this time of the night."  Luke reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring that had been their engagement ring and stared at it for a while.   He pointed it up at the sky like a beacon almost telling Callista to come home.  He looked at the stars and his lips moved into a silent prayer.  He looked down at the ring and then put it back into his pocket and heaved a sigh, but not a sigh of defeat but a sigh of renewal. Leia looked at her brother and figured that this was his way of saying goodbye. Leia put an arm around him to keep him from getting cold as he did the same.  They both stared at the sky looking towards the future but remembered the past.

As Lando and Chewy were coming up on Coruscant, they noticed something that they didn't like.  Two Stardestroyers.
"Hey guys, need some help?"  Lando asked into the Comm.
"Lando?  It's Wedge.  We could always use some help.  Why don't you go after Nine's Tale."
"Sure Wedge."  Lando said warming up the blasters.  What was the Empire doing here?  They must have known that it was  pretty stupid going up against Coruscant with only two Stardestroyers.  Suicide!  Lando was looking over the Navicomputer, looking for some more Stardestroyers when Chewy gave a Triumphant roar.  He had blown up the TIE fighter that was tailing Nine.
"Thanks Lando.  Or whoever.  I don't taste too good crispy fried.  Doesn't go well with my wardrobe either."
"Your welcome Wes." Lando said into the Comm.  "But it was Chewy that did it."
"Thanks.. Rogue Leader you've got a shadow.  I'm coming." and as Rogue nine blue up the tail Lando noticed four more Stardestroyers.
"Hey Wedge.  We have a few more unwanted guests.  I think that we should start going after the Stardestroyers now.  The first one is starting to warm up it's blasters.  And is Aiming at Coruscant."  Lando said turning his ship towards the Stardestroyer.  "Okay Chewy let's give them all we got."

"Captain?  The Rebels don't seem to be too worried about our approach.  All I count is one X-wing Squadron. "
"I know Conar.  Don't worry.   First as a warning, let's get that small moon first.  It'll get them a bit more worried.  Tell the True Death  to aim at Coruscant and warm up their weapons but not to fire. "
"Sir?  The True Death has been fired upon.  Their blasters are down."
"What in blazes?  Well then get them out of there and get the Tommyknocker in there before they get..." but the Captain was stopped by a flash of light that came from the True Death.  It was gone.  "Blown away.  Okay.  Well then tell all the ships to beware and to have their shields on.  We'll still go after the small moon as a warning of our capabilities.  Also tell them not to retreat in any way.  Don't let them now that were scared."
"Yes sir."

"Good shot Chewy!  Thanks Wedge!  We needed the help.  Those Stardestroyers mustn't be in good condition if we could blow them away that easily.  Let's take the one in the back Wedge.  Send Rogue three, Seven and nine after the one that's moving into position.  Maybe we can scare them off."
"Okay you heard the man.  Let's go.  Good plan Lando.  Good shooting Chewy."

"Sir, Two Rebel ships are coming this way.  Should we raise shields or commence firing?"
"They can't do anything. Commence firing."
"Yes sir.  Wilf.  Start the firing process."
"Starting sir."

"They're going after the moon.  Here Chewy can you disable the blasters?"
"Hey Lando?  It's too late.  Let's back off before we get to be part of the space dust."  Wedge said pulling back realizing that it was too late.  Chewy took one direct shot and then Lando pulled the ship back.  The two ships braised for impact but were surprised.

"Sir.  The blasters are down!"
"What?  How?"
"That one ship.  I would like to advise for us to go while we still can."
"Okay.  Send in the Winner and get us out of here.  Keep us in enough distance to allow us to watch the battle. "
"Yes sir..."Conar said but was interrupted by a young Lieutenant.
"Sir.  Those ships are coming after us."
"Then get us out of..."

"Great shot Chewy.  Two down and four to go."  Lando said as the Stardestroyer was blow into space dust.
"Actually Lando.  The others seem to be retreating.  Okay let's clean up these TIE fighters and go home."
"I'm with you Wedge."  Lando replied giving Chewy a pat on the back.
"Good Job Chewy."

"Luke, we have to go.  Apparently the Empires has gotten Suicidal and tried an attack on Coruscant.  We have to go see haw everything is."
"Okay.  Have a good trip."
"We will but will you be all right?"
"I'll be..."
"Leia!  Who are you talking to?  Luke's strong!  He'll be fine!  Besides he's got everyone here and the kids for the time being."
"Han's right Leia.  I'll be fine.  I've got the academy and Artoo and The kids until they decide to leave.  I'll be fine."
"If your sure.  I want you to call everyday."
"Yes mother."
"Luke!"
"Luke's right Leia.  You sound like his mother now come-on let's go."
"Fine."  Leia said and gave Luke and each of the kids a hug.
"Have a good trip."  Luke said.  "And I'll call you.  Don't worry."
"Bye mom."  The three kids said in unison and then they got into a short argument about that.
"We'll be back in about a week."  Jacen said after they resolved the argument.
"Now you better get out of here.  Tell Chewy and Lando Hi for me."  Luke said and then gave Leia another hug.
"Come-on hon.  Let's get out of here.  Bye Luke. Bye kids."
"Bye Han."
"Bye Dad." The kids said as they watched their parent got into the Falcon and leave.

"Leia!  Han!  How did the preparations for the wedding go?  When is it?"  Lando said as Leia and Han stepped off the Falcon.
"Actually there won't be any wedding."  Han said remembering that Lando wouldn't have heard yet.
"Callista ran away again!  Poor Luke!  He's got major problems..."
"Actually Lando.  Callista died a few days ago"
"Oh man!  I'm so sorry.  I hadn't known."
"It's all right.  Luke's going to be fine and so's Jacen."
"What's this got to do with Jacen?"
"Here we'll tell you later.  I heard about a fight.  Tell me everything."  Han said.
"Here why don't we head inside.  It looks like it might rain."
"Sure.  Oh yah.  Chewy's inside.  He'll be glad to see you.  He's got a lot of gloating to do."

As Luke climbed to the top of the Temple to see the sun set,  he felt someone behind him. "Master Luke?"
"Yes Tionne?"
"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry about Callista.  She was really a nice person."
"She was wasn't she."
"Are you going to be all right?  I know how much she meant to you."
"I'll be fine."
"Okay.  Oh yes, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to hold a ceremony for her."
"I already have."  And that was all Luke said as he looked up into the sky and felt Callista watching him from above.
